I want to let a small group of people (that I know) meaningfully test a beta release of the conversational journal within 3 months.

What should be in the beta?

Things that are included:

• Architectural components that are super fundamental to the build
• Core differentiators to competitors (we know we can copy them, but we need to prove we can be better than them)
• The core flow (which enables the above)

Things that are not included:

• Everything else

What am I testing with the beta?

• Do people like my opinionated entry and prompt configuration?
• Do people actually care about and appreciate the privacy afforded?
• What percent of people who I think should try it, actually start journalling on this thing?

What assumptions do I need to test before the beta?

• Even though building on WhatsApp would be quicker and more accessible to use, it’s incompatible with cant-read-your-journal privacy, which is more important to users

• Being able to use existing smart context management approaches (which use databases) may be better for prompt quality, but are incompatible with can’t-read-your-journal privacy, which is more important to users

What will the high level sequencing be?
